Readiness Assessment

Hold your AI strategy against evidence

A baseline diagnostic for responsible AI transformation readiness, designed for mid-market and enterprise organizations. Thirty-six scored items across twelve dimensions, ten optional open-ended questions, one honest picture of where you are ready to scale and where investment is required first.

What it measures

Twelve dimensions, thirty-six scored items

Each dimension carries three scored items on a five-point scale. The dimension score is the mean of its items; overall readiness is the mean of all thirty-six.

  1. Dimension 1

    AI Literacy and Workforce Capability

  2. Dimension 2

    Leadership Alignment and Transformation Thesis

  3. Dimension 3

    Psychological Safety and Learning Culture

  4. Dimension 4

Current SDLC Health and Practice Quality

  5. Dimension 5

    Knowledge and Enterprise Context

  6. Dimension 6

    AI Engineering Platform and Tooling

  7. Dimension 7

    Risk, Security, and Governance

  8. Dimension 8

    Human-AI Interaction and Risk-Agency Design

  9. Dimension 9

    Verification, Validation, and Production Readiness

  10. Dimension 10

    Flow, Quality, and Realization Measurement

  11. Dimension 11

AI Economics, Token Management, and Cost Attribution

  12. Dimension 12

Human Resilience and Operating Model Readiness

What you get

An honest baseline, automatically

  • Overall readiness score

A single number on a 1.0 to 5.0 scale, with a plain-English readiness level from Grounded to Earned AI Autonomy.

  • Twelve-dimension heat map

A color-coded readout across the twelve pillars so the gaps and the strengths read at a glance.

  • Gating-factor callout

A prominent flag when Risk, Security and Governance, Human-AI Interaction, Verification, AI Economics, or Human Resilience score below the safe threshold. Low scores there cap overall readiness even when the average looks strong.

  • Playbook mapping

For every dimension that scores below 3.7, the report names the corresponding phase of the roadmap and the decision gate your leadership team should hold the strategy against.

In the meantime the full framework, including the readiness scoring rubric, is in the book. If you would like a hand running it in your organization now, get in touch with RYU Advisory.

Aggregate scores by dimension and overall, then read them against the readiness levels. Treat low scores in risk, security, governance, verification, validation, human-AI accountability, AI economics, and human resilience as gating factors, not averages to be smoothed over.
